South to North Cyprus?

Does anyone know of a company that would transport our furniture from our house in Paphos over to our new home in Girne? And how easy/complicated this would be to take across the border.

Friends of ours did this a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I don't know which company they used, but I do remember them having to spend hours with the customs people. Mind you, they did have to leave in a hurry (not for any bad reason, just because they had a cash offer on their house in Paphos which they had been trying to sell for a long while) and they had an apartment waiting for them inh Alsancak. Not much help, I know, but at leastyou know it's perfectly feasible. They did say it was very expensive, but then again they had tons of stuff and, as I said, needed to move in a hurry.

i have a number for a company in lefkosa, who may be able to help.

the problem is that they only speak turkish.

so if you have a turkish speaking friend who could help, i can give you there number.

i will say they got my container through customs without a hitch!

i think you will probably have to do the same formalities coming from the south.
