How to get a package or parcel here.



Does the service work using a street address or a PO Box?

Depends where you are, We are in Catalkoy and get our mail ok. Other areas may require a PO box number and you collect, but these have waiting lists, might be worth speaking to some friends and see if you can use their number.

Only know how it works in Lapta area - - - - - - - - - - - if you have a post office box,all mail,either addressed to po box or street address goes in there,if you don't have a box all post can be collected from post office.

Cautionary note,ask for all post to be addressed Mersin10 Turkey rather than TRNC,and anything in brown "official" looking envelopes gets here quicker.

and also note that if its a parcel or package it maybe liable to be customs checked, and if they think fit will be due to pay duty/import tax so make sure there is a receipt in it otherwise they will tell you what its worth and charge you duty as per there costing

You can put your own address on and collect from where you pay your water bills in Karsiyaka. Don't forget the Mersin 10 post code.
