Up until the the last couple of weeks I had perfect reception on Sky 1 HD and Atlantic HD here in Karsiyaka.

Now I get either a broken/fuzzy picture or no signal at all.

I have a 1.8m offset dish and a Pace HD box.

Has anyone else lost recetopin from these two HD channels (their SD alternatives are fine)?

I have not had any reports of SKY 1 HD or Atlantic HD being lost on any other 1.8m dish, so your problem must be local.

"broken/fuzzy picture" is an indication of loss of signal...

This could be due to, either the dish being knocked out of alignment or some sort of vegetation growing in front of the dish, obstructing the incoming signal.

Check to see if there is no vegetation growing near the dish and if that's not the case call your installer to realign the dish.

Thanks, Iceman..

Now that I know it isn't a problem in general - might I also suggest that it could be the LNB..

Does the signal go at approx the same time every day - or is it random ? If the latter.. It might be a spider ......!

Re message 6

Good morning Mustafa

I will phone you - you may remember that you installed it behind a trellis in June 2009.

Re message 7

Thanks Mark.

No signal at all on these two channels now at any time. Will get the LNB checked.

Your dish needs adjusting by an expert.
