Make yourself a 'Maori airconditioner' - here's how:



Place large plastic bowl of cold water on a chair at the end of the bed - or wherever > dump in about a coupla three 'freezer blocks' > direct fan's blast at surface of bowl and...... 'Bob's your Uncle - Fanny's your aunt' - it works like a 'bought one' - airconditioner, that is!

i think you will find they replied to your request in your heading, if you mean a free standing fan most electrical shops sell them

I got a floor fan from the shop next door to ours on the Çatalköy main road (opp Tempo). Cost 65tl and has 3 settings plus timer.
