Minister of Interior and Local Administrations Nazım Çavuşoğlu who is holding a one day official visit to the Turkish capital Ankara has met with several high ranking officials. The Minister of Interior and Local Administrations Nazım Çavuşoğlu met with the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Cemil Çiçek.



Making a statement after the meeting the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Cemil Cicek said that Turkey’s policies towards the Cyprus issue have not changed.

Noting that for a very long time Turkey has been striving to find a just and permanent solution to the Cyprus problem, Mr. Cicek expressed the hope that all these efforts will lead to success.



The TRNC Minister also came together with the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State in Charge of Cyprus Affairs Beşir Atalay.

In the afternoon Mr. Çavuşoğlu came together with the Turkish Minister of Interior İdris Naim Şahin.



Mr. Cavusoglu will be returning to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus tonight after completing his contacts in Ankara.
