The Cyprus talks will not resume for another two week. Eroglu and Christofias held their last meeting on Tuesday during which they presented mutual proposals regarding the Chapter of Governance and Power-Sharing. Evaluating the meeting upon his return to the Presidential Palace, Eroğlu said Friday’s meeting would be the last meeting to focus on Governance and Power-Sharing. “The talks will continue until October and we will move on to negotiate different chapters. We will work to reach a sustainable agreement” Eroğlu added.

Dear Paul, If you'd asked - I could have explained... ' Commie Jim' Christofias has a little crisis as you know.. 1/ The explosion and no electric - loads of 'comeback' / protests 2/ The party he heads is the biggest party in govt but the supporting coalition party (ies) have been withdrawing support This is not a delaying tactic.. he is 'in the crap', politically ..

I think he's using that as an excuse. Whats more important the lack of support from his own party or the talks?

mark message 6: since 'toff is commie who studied in soviet russia, and friend putin described the collapse of the ussr as "the greatest catastrophe in world history" ...can russia therefore be relied upon to never give de facto recognition to the trnc?

Dear Andre_514 to quote Churchill.."Russia is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma" All states act in their best interest... who knows what Russia might do to get 'states' she wants recognised... ?
