Suggest you go the the builders merchant with the big MARSHALL sign just before you get to Girne going west to east. They will advise you as to the correct product and you just brush the roof to be sealed and then brush on the sealant. My garage roof was done by the builder 6 years ago and is still good. You will save a lot of money doing it yourself.

You only need to get a tub of the stuff and a broom. Along with a nice dry warm day.

This huge roof used to leak a very lot before we sealed it,after we sealed it we tested it by plugging up the drain pipes and filling the roof with tons of water and left it for 2 or 3 days.

No leaks.

DIY and save yourself a fortune,it was easy.

Thanks for the suggestions all. I remain a tad sceptical a paint on sealer will be sufficient. How many coats do you apply?

I will pop into one of the big builders merchants, as suggested, speak to them and see what products are available.

Deniz, who is Celal please? My Turkish is poor, is his English ok?

Being a swallow, not here in the rainy season, I cannot afford to take a risk on a solution that is not fit for purpose.

It is not a paint on sealer,it is on a roll, the floor is heated then it is layed on the concrete and then heated a little more.

If you could of seen how the flat roofs in this block leaked prior to laying this product you would of been shocked,it used to phish in through the light fittings hanging from the ceiling and other places.

Now its bone dry.

You will heat the concrete floor with a industrial blow torch which uses gas.

You can buy it from most DIY shops,i forget the name, but if you watch the video youll see the name on the edges of the product.

There was a similar post last month...

Our friend had work done by http://www.jjslandscapes.com/

on their flat roof, problem solved.

Worth a phone call/email, see contact info.

Good luck.
