Can anyone recommend a good hotel in Istanbul, not too far out, and not too dear

for a party of 6 coming in first few days of November. I am hoping to join these friends

and I will stay with friend but she can't accommodate so many.

We went on a deal through Holication travel agents ..

Stayed at Hotel Cartoon in Taxim Square ..

Cartoon hotel...basic rooms...but fantastic rooftop restaurant.....food was fabulous too!

Aracadia hotel in Sultanahmet, a stone's throw from all the "sights", clean, comfortable with views to die for, very reasonable , great breakfast, would not stay anywher else, staff wonderful !!

The Amira hotel in Sultanahmet. Rated number 1 on Trip Advisor and I wouldn't argue with that rating. Boutique hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Wow Airport Hotel, 4 and 5 stars side by side. Not far from the airport but has free service to the airport and Taksim square.

Faros Hotel, just off of sultanahmet good price, great service and on the tram route.
