It may be worth asking the local shops restaurants what the exchange rate is. As an example I always change my money in the local shop as they give me the same exchange rate as Girne so not worth the travel. Hope this helps !!

As joseph says monex is better than all the other exchanges and usually better than the banks unless you have a large amount in which case it is best to ask around.
