Paphos to Tatlisu in the north

I am driving from Paphos to Tatlisu for the first time and would welcome any advice on directions and buying insurance at the border. I was thinking of crossing at Agios Dometios.

Motorway almost all the way, head for Ayia Napa, and take the pile/pyla turn off the motorway and cross through the SBA at Bayermudu, its the quickest, there is a bit of a unmade road about 10kms to be negotiated towards Getitkale but apart from that plain sailing 2and half hours approx

just don't ask for directions to the 'border' in the 'rump' RoC of Cyprus - or you'll get a geo-political history lesson ....



I like Kittyfuns route.. fast across the island and then a shorter route north via the SBA
