Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone is using a Worldspace satellite radio in TRNC? I am bringing one out with me later this week frmo the UK. I know Worldpace went bust, but last I heard, a few stations are still broadcasting free to air (BBC World Service and NPR)

cheers

Thanks lovingcyprus. That is good news !

Hello mmmmmm - Yes, Worldspace in its original form is no more, although a company that bought some of their assets is starting up an internet radio company. However, the bird is still in the sky and a handful of free to air channels are still broadcasting from it. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1worldspace. It will probably not last much longer since the satellite is near end of life. The costs of retiring it are great though, so it is probably cheaper to leave it on that it would be to turn it off.

For music only, select the artists you want to hear...

Try Jango - Free Music -- Listen to Music Online - Internet Radio

Good luck.
