Have you got anything lurking in the back of your cupboards gathering dust?



If so, we are having a market stall at Soyz, Catalkoy in aid of Help Those With Cancer Association/Tulips and are looking for anything that we can sell ie clothes, shoes, kitchen items, tools, toys, ornaments, books, dvd's, cd's etc etc etc



We are collecting these by the end of August.

And will you have a collection point and if so, where? I have clothes and books from time to time, but usually take them to the shop behind the PO. Catalkoy would be more convenient.

We only do semi-one-offs!



We are trying to do a market stall every couple of months, this will only be our 3rd however we have avoided the hottest months for obvious reasons.



We raised in excess of 1500tl on the first one we did and over 1800tl on the 2nd so we are looking at beating our record.



I live in Ozankoy and Carole lives in Catalkoy so we can arrange to meet at a convenient place and a suitable time to suit you especially as you are almost on our doorstep!

I know that someone is supposed to be going to Alsancak tomorrow (Friday) to collect stuff, so maybe if a phone call was made a.m. 'Lilli' they could include you.

Yes, I know i am being interferring, but 'carpe diem'./

Or if not, when I have sorted a few things and if I have time, I could perhaps collect for onward transmission , but time is kinda tight these days.

Just picked up your msg this morning (it's way pass my bedtime when you post!).



Carole and I are driving to the west side of Girne today to collect some things from some very kind hearted members who have already been in touch, so I will ring you later and if convenient we will meet up, if not we can arrange another time.



To everyone else:



Please keep looking, we still need alot more stuff.



It can be anything ie 3 glasses because you broke the rest of the set, salt and pepper pot (or half a set), table cloths, ornaments, books, dvd's, cd's, books, clothes, Jigsaws, pictures, toys, bedding - the list is endless.



We will be over towards Lapta again in about one weeks time, so if you are unable to get anything together for today, don't worry - we will be back!
