Need to find someone who can 'syringe' my ears out. I get problems with ear-wax build up, and now I need to find a doctor/nurse with the equipment to flush them out. Have been using 'Earex' for a few days now to soften it up.

I found a piece of paper with the name Dr Abbas Sinay, a doctor at the private hospital behind the Pia Bella hotel, which someone gave me ages ago, but I don't have a phone number to make an appointment.

Has anyone else had this done here in TRNC who could give me phone number/name directions please ?

Any good/bad experience of having this done ?

Thanks in advance

You won't know how bad your hearing was until you get your lugs flushed.

My husband went there without an appointment. He was seen by the doctor within minutes of arriving. Had his ears syringed and was out in another 5 minutes. Cost was 80TL. Excellent service!

You could always try the old treatment John- lay the old fella on the table get someone to give it a quick karate chop , the wax just leaves the ear.

Just had the same problem as you, went deaf in the left ear, wife kept on about the TV being too loud, I never noticed it until I kept asking the wife to repeat every conversation we were having, went to the doctors two weeks ago he recommended waxal I needed three visits before all the wax was removed, and the syringe wasn't too unpleasant, but I now have my hearing back, so I know what you are going through,
