how and where do i get extension, car came in from uk got 1 months yellow ticket, ,was told to take in a month to nicosia to get extension and ideas

You should be able to get extension up to length of time your english road tax expires.

You will need in/out doc from police station which you can get at Girne.

To get this you need to fill out form and attach 6ytl stamps and have passport.

Then I think to get extension you will need Passport (and copy), Uk driving

Licence, Log Book, Tax Disc, Yellow paper, In/Out Doc and probably more stamps. Also I think you need muchtars letter.

We have same to do by end of next week so if find anything else out will post.

When you go to get in/out doc at Girne Police station check to see if you can do it there, I think you might.

If not it wil be customs at Lefkosa which I think is at or near police station.

Sorry a bit vague but still finding out things myself.

You need to go to the customs in lefkosia. Turn left at the lefkosia roundabout towards ercan airport. Drive passed i think two roundabouts there is a sign for nalken clothes and the big mercedes showroom turn left at the showroom and the customs are on the right. go into the building on the left dont know what room though things have changed. If you are unsure this guy can take you and do the whole process ( may charge you up to 100ytl but worth it) and when you are ready to pay the tax on your care he can help also. Innan 05338683613
