Most threads mentioning restaurants do not include their location.Is there a publication giving locations or method of finding those that are off the main road?

Any particular area? I have a reasonably detailed Google map for Tatlisu - Esentepe region with some contact details.

Enjoy the many watering holes/restaurants west of Girne. The Esentepe/Tatlisu info is always available should you need it.

Lemonbun, if you have a car why not have a drive up to Hoots in Ilgaz tonight? It's "open-mike" night, tonight. A good, well mannered and civilised crowd will be there for sure. Free entertainment by good local musicians and others.



Coming from Lapta, on the main road in the direction of Girne/Kyrenia, at Alsancak, take a right opposite Mambos bar and follow the road on up to Ilgaz. Follow the signs for Hoots - they are dotted about.

First time up this road you may think you must be lost - unlikely - it is about a 10-15 minute drive up to Hoots from the main road turning. It's worth the drive, honest! A couple of sharp bends to negotiate, that's all really.
