Try Saban's (Sherbet Joe's) music shop near Erdener on the way out east from the Karakum Lemar...Joe deals in second hand kit too and will find you one from the local music community if available.

Try at Saban Joe, Karakum. I know there are a number of sensibly priced second-hand bass guitars for sale there.

Dead easy to find Saban Joe - from the new harbour roundabout, Karakum direction, about 500m past the Harley Davidson showroom, on the opposite side of the road.
