At one time or another over the last 6 years I have tried, sometimes unwillingly and sometimes at first unknowingly, most of the local 'alternative' drinks. Recently I even tried Cyprus Bitters as a local alternative to Campari. If all that was left on earth was the local whisky, gin or brandy then I would be teetotal.

But among them is a shining star - Santiago rum. I much prefer it to Bacardi and it is only 10tl per bottle. If you like a rum & coke and haven't tried it yet I would highly recommend it.
