I know suntanman... what a shock. I had just shifted some furniture websites from it to our msn site and it went down. Does anyone know why???

Thanks Gaynor

Hi all, Suntan, Davidoff,

The North Cyrus forum on V bulletin, sabotage/political gesturing maybe, maybe not !

This really is a blow, so many contacts gone , emails , telephone numbers, good freinds.

Maybe this site simply got to popular/contentious, I think that there where several new commer's to the forum who were hell bent on upsetting the powers that be, playing down the possitive aspects of property ownership and the TRNC in general, know what i mean.

Lets hope Jimbob and co get up and running

Does anyone really know what the *u* k is going on !

Hi all,

You probably right- sabotage?? Someone or the powers that be may have decided to get rid of it!!

Anyway there will always be NC forums- I mean they cant ban them all surely!

I already know that there is about 6 other forums active that has a NC section!

Oh well- If this one crashes then we can meet at our next destination- totallyproperty.com is another option!!

Not intending to promote another forum- but just so if this one goes down then we know where to meet up next time!!

Take care-D

you would be supprised at how many man hours go into monitoring bbs and internet sites here.

Watch 2 more sites go very soon trnc officals and goverment might appear impotent but they do strike and when they do the site goes down !!

Hi Littlenige

Your comments are quite correct

Free speech, not likely !

Bulletin boards and the individuals who raise the important issues are normally a threat where local and national interests are not best served, rightly or wrongly !

That was obvious from several threads on the North Cyprus property forum bulletin board hosted by V bulletin

I myself have brought property in the T R N C, and am under no illusion as to the 'long term' prospects of investment in property here, i certainly have not got my head in the sand.

Anyone who does not recognize the 'risk factors' associated with property ownership in the TRNC is dilusional.

At the end of the day the prices are good for a reason ! and theres only one, and no, its not the one about an 'emerging economy' !.

I'm just saying you need to go in with your eyes open, embrace all the good and bad aspects, and assess the risks regularly.

Regards

Davidoff

If you don't agree with my comments, just say so.

mssr panhandler, malteser, suntanman and all the new names.

it is good to see that you are all alive and well.

panhandler, did you get to see anything of the Beach Resort on your last visit?

So am I right in thinking that we have paid Evergreen money for the Electricity Meters and Supply and now we have to re-register this for an additional cost ? how much ?

Hi elipsys, or scot as we really know you.

You have beaten me to the question for panhandler regarding transfer of electric in to our own names. I am sure we will get an answer from him.

Don't know whether you have noticed, but there are now at last half a dozen threads on this forum relating to Crystal Bay owners, and mesages are getting rather jumbled up, so I have set up a forum on msn with headings for each particular project to try and simplify contact between ourselves. If you are interested please spread the word, the more members the better.

I am not trying to influence which site people wish to make contact on, but thought it would be easier if we had access to ALL the Evergreen projects for discussions and feedback in one place.

The option/choice is there.

suntanman,

It is good to to hear from you. I agree there are a few too many threads, my only objection (pure selfish I know) is that I can not view msn forums from work (blocked you see by big brother) but that should not deter others from using your forum. I have read with interest the 'hot' debate of Evergreens sales 'gimmicks' earlier this year on this forum. I have to admit we 'Greenies' sure do defend Evergreen and the management even though I have bitched about them from time to time as others have.

I have tried to call Nurten today (no joy, just keeps ringing) as another deadline is about to pass by without any word from Evergreen. My contract date is mid-December and that is fast approaching. If anyone has any info/photos of CBBR then I would be eternally grateful to hear from you because I am getting a little impatient once again.

Has anyone who has taken possession on BlueBay been able to negotiate the 'additional' costs, regarding payment schedule etc etc.

Hi panhandler,

I said I did agree with you and that there are also about 6 options as to why the forum is not on air anymore- So I dont understand why you felt the need to have a dig at me??
