According to Yenidüzen paper today, the injunction order which was issued to stop selling the houses of the british owners at the Karşıyaka Kulaksız site was cancelled by the Girne court yesterday and as a result, houses will be sell in the auction. Solicitor of the home owners said, they will go to court of appeal against the decision. I wish thier problem will solve soon.

Lets just say I WOULD NOT buy one Knowing those poor people have suffered like they have Hope they stand empty Why don't the Government turn round and say enough is enough Hand them back there property Now that would be a good advert for the TRNC

Surely no one with morals and principles would ever sink as low as to purchase them, no matter how cheap? At the end of the day, this has happened because in the TRNC it is acceptable to pay in full for a property and take possession. Yet there is no legal requirement for the seller to hand over the deeds. If the seller then takes out a loan from the bank or runs into debt, the property you have paid for in full will be used as his assets to pay back that loan. If that means auctioning your property then this seems acceptable practice. Where are all those screaming "you should have done your home-work" and doing their best to encourage others to buy suggesting it is completely safe? Their sudden silence regarding what has happened is deafening. Don't buy in the TRNC. You run the very real risk of losing thousands of pounds and being homeless. No more rose tinted glasses please. Lets be honest.

I don't think it is much to do with having 'rose tinted glasses' but to do with 'I'm allright jacks' as far as I can see Bradus. Those are the ones that had little or no problems puschasing their properties or getting their 'deeds',which goes to prove.........as much as I don't condem one bit what's been happening, there are alot of people out there whom are happy of being in trnc. risky to buy in cyprus???...........where it isn't?Of course one has to bear in mind the fact that there are many ways of ones loosing their money/property..............ie.remember reccession in uk back in 80s?It didn't stop vultures grabbing the opportunuty........... an old customer of mine in Greenwich (a road sweeper) used to say.............where there is money there'll always be a fiddle...........(hope you are still with us and well Ratman)
