thats whats so amusing about it, just shows how ridiculous society has become, all those wanabees that go into bb for their 15 minutes of fame because thats their only way into celebville all be it a brief trip. "So you think you can dance" now thats made me chuckle, never heard it all called that before

Icklepix I'm not taking the piss out of Strictly Come Dancing... It's an American program and that's the proper name of it.... Britain's Nigel Lythgoe is the head honcho... it's really very good. We get it on DigiTurk...

I've always thought the intonation of "Stars In Their Eyes" was wrong... It should be "Stars in THEIR eyes".... as in "but nobody elses...."

What a load of rubbish these shows are, I think only morons would even consider looking at this type of junk. People who read the Sun and watch this rubbish should not be allowed to vote. Also Eastenders should be banned, never seen anything so depressing, cannot believe that normal people live their lives like this. Surely this type of tv is just cheap[to make] junk only appealing to uneducated folk. Problem is that youngsters will be influenced by these shows and become removed from real reality.

Actually "so you think you can dance" is not a celebrity competition so it should not have been included in this posting sorry.... If you watch it you'll see why it's so well liked... the good dancing is utterly amazing and the poor dancing is simply hilarious...

i would not say that people that watch soap,s are (moron,s) as my wife watche,s eastender,s coronation street, and neighbours.i just think they have a very low expectation of what entertainmemt is.and as for so called reality programs i personally think they are a total waste of time..... but hey,ho, if that,s what the masses want that,s what they get. could somebody tell me why there are so many repeat,s and omnibus editions of soaps,or is it just another means of filling up the t/v program scheduale with yet more crap definition of a moron,an adult mentally equal to a 8 to 12 year old child

Rocky - with (lack of) punctuation like that, I doubt very much whether you'd have got a BA Hons in English, even if they do "give them away" .

you r correct I do not have a degree I elected for other professional studies rather than a university. I am not sure how important punctuationa n spelling are these days unless one is publishing something, just look at texting in these modern days its about quick communications, So no I dont haf a degree but I have a cycling proficeincy certifcate. However I would not watch TV rubbish. The old programmes were the best, Hallo Hallo, Fawlty Towers, Dads Army modern comedy is also for the unitelligent with degrees as well perhaps.

I'm not a fan of reality TV either, I'm sorry. My sister (who happens to have several real University degrees) once told me that Big Brother was designed to be a fascinating insight into the human psychi and that is why she watched it. My response was "Yes, of course it is..." whilst thinking to myself that she's certainly bright enough not to admit that she enjoys seeing people make idiots of themsleves in an attempt to get famous! She knew I was not convinced. There was a show on Sky One a few years back that I did watch called "Boot Camp", where a group of 12 ordinary people entered a US Marine boot camp and were subjected to 10 weeks of basic marine training. While it had all the usual scheming, back-stabbing and quests for sympathy etc that most reality shows have, it was actually quite interesting. Oh well, that's my two-penneth...
