It must have been an expensive time for you then, say 5 rounds @ 10tl ! =50tl ! they did have happy hours maybe you might have left by then ?

To sit back and enjoy all the entertainers today and give to Ismails appeal the afternoon could not have been all '' not worth it ''

Sometime I just feel that most of the Brits here just want cheap booze.....around the footie !

As 90% of Eleanor Rigby's customers book, if there are no bookings at 9pm the chef will close-up and go home.

How do you arrive at that conclusion?

The gate money was collected on behalf of the charity and Octopus AquaPark will be making a further donation towards the charity.

Please feel free to check with the charity organisers and be sure to come back to us with their answer.

Vaughan I think you may have missed my point.

I know the establishment donated monies but with inflated/high drinks prices I am sure that the donation was affordable.

Further more it would appear there were no bookings or drinkers by 9 O'clock because of your higher than necessary prices.

Furthermore it was my understanding that acts were booked for around 9 O'clock so what happened to them?

What price do you normally charge for a large Efes?

Despite your reference to message 4 ( which in my humble opinion I think is a cheap cop out) maybe you will kill the goose that lays the golden egg if you try to fleece customers under the guise of 'charity'.

the reason given for the extra cost of drink was not that it was going to charity,it was to run the Aqua park. Surely thats what entry money is for and I am not referring to this sundays 5tls that where donated.

Thank You Billy and the Staff at the Aqua Park,

We raised 1036 lira for ismails urgent treatment.

Without your dination of door money, we would have had very poor day.

Not a good turnout , but thats life.

The event was planned very quickly and we did not have much time too advertise it.

We ran a liitle late (sorry) due to a problem with my mixer caused by the heat I think.

Thank you to you all for your support and help.

I will post a new topic to thank the excellent entertainers.
