Early Monday Morning found a puppy outside Bektas in Lapta. She is approx 10 weeks old I would think. She is tan colour with white markings.

I thought at first that she was lost, but then silly me, came back to reality and realised she is more likely to have been dumped.

Have advertised around in case she is somebodys but think it is more a case now of finding her a home. I have an elderly cat at home who is not best pleased that a pup is in the house and will not tolerate her.

If anybody is able to give her a home please contact me on 0533 843 3962.

Thank you

Last Saturday we found three pups dumped on the side of the road from Camlibel. Doubt they would have lasted long in the heat and so close to the road. KAR were kind enough to take them on Sunday. Would have kept them but already have three with Lucy and two of her pups (now a year old!). Although KAR are full they will take pups as they are easier to home.

Lapta and Karsiyaka seem to becoming the main dumping ground for pups and dogs at the moment don't they?

Yes it is so sad. Shame the animals get treated so badly here. I stand by the fact they are mans best friend and should be treated as so.

She is adorable. Looks like a Pointer/terrier cross. She is already very intelligent and very clean. Approx 12 weeks old but not sure.

If you can give her a forever home please call 0533 843 3962

If you find a dumped puppy it is preferable to ring KAR asap. It's better to get a collection date from them right away. (that's if they have room of course) If you have taken it in for any length of time and fed it etc the puppy will be treating you and your property as "home" and will be distresed again when it's moved. I'm not critising in any way, it's very kind of you to look after it.
