There is a very clever scam email going round about BBC Lottery winnings. What makes this so clever is that it appears to use genuine BBC email links and does use genuine website links.

But it is a scam.

No Groucho, but I have rec eived scams from all kinds of people talking about my being the winner of a lottery of which I have never heard before, but they are very cleverly presented.

Well I'm not sure it's all that clever if the BBC don't even run a lottery... might as well be a British Rail lottery! Oh, I see British Rail do have one... you can gamble on the last rain home from Paddington running.
