I would call it "legalised corruption" and in the pot would go Estate agents,Advocates, and then i would finish it off by adding some developers.

My wife and I knew the late Robert Beckingham who lived in Karmi.

He was known to like the odd glass of Raki (or seven) and so she created a cocktail in his honour (Robert's) Kibris Blue.

I suppose 'Filth on the Beach' - a bit like Sex on the beach but with more washed-up around the high-tide mark!

put owt in it,as long as it's at least 40 abv, sup it watching the sun go down, or come up, and call it as it is, Heaven on Earth. Better still wi' a mate or two, as long as they "provide"

ps for those that don't know what a "mate" is, bell me, ok J

Msg 1

If anything to do with North Cyprus and your pen-name, reference to your question, how about:-

True Russian Naked Conquests..................?!

A shot of Tequlia

A shot of Raki

A bottle of Niersteiner

A shot of Cointreau

That should do the trick!

I would call it "gacoktail" and use plenty of Rakı with ice and tap water!

How about 'Old Tart's Fantasy'?

Ingredients:

5 shots of Raki

5 shots of local brandy

5 hunks of [young and fresh] Turkish Delight

Then subtract car, house and all proceeds from deceased husband's life insurance policy!

'Brandy-sour ' used to be the traditional cocktail of North Cyprus.

I worked as a bar several years in the past and all the

newly arrived tourists would be welcomed with brandy sour.

(I gave up in '95.I don't know what is going on since then...)

Here is the recipe

5 cl cyprus brandy- 1 or 2 cl of local home made lemon syrup + soda water+ 2-4 drops of Angostura Bitter.

(Before you put all in,dip the brim of the cocktail glass first in the FRESH lemon juıce and then in sugar)

Ice and slice of lemon....

Can use scotch, vodka, rum or gin instead of brandy...

But not bourbon or aged brandy (cognac)...

I guess you would then have to call it "scotch sour", "rum sour" or "gin sour" - I am not too sure how the Angastura would taste with any of these though

Long Slow Screw Against the Courtroom Wall.

Place some ice in a tall Hi-Ball glass. Two shots of Vodka, add a generous measure of Sloe Gin, add a very generous measure of Cyprus Raki, top up with fresh Cyprus Orange Juice. Stir energeticlly.

After a screw you won't understand what's going on; after the second you won't hear anything, following the third you will go to sleep and dream of being in hell.

When you wake up you will find that you are in hell, with a headache! ... and the retirement house you thought you bought for cash with your life savings still, 'officially', belongs to someone else! Have another screw before reality becomes too much to bear. Apllies to all parts of Cyprus. Hic.
