south side fully comp insurance

Anyone know if it is possible to purchase fully comp insurance for the south side if you live in the north. . Cant quite understand why the booths at the border only sell the minimum insurance which just basically covers nothing much.

surely they will benefit greatly by offering this ?. Would feel much better if i personally had this type of insurance , especially if my car broke down. ok ...only get towed to the border but better than being stuck at the top of the troodos (happened to me last year).

if you have full insurance in the North you can also purchase for a extra fee full insurance in the South by topping up the third party insurance you have already purchased, this is bought from your North insurer,

i have had this now for three or four years, not sure how or if available if you only buy a month at a time

dont know about the towing
