| Hi, Have a Sony Mini Hi fi player, CD player says 'read CD', then comes up with 'No Disc' but there is. Anyone know if anybody can fix it please? |

| I assume you have tried lots of different discs? It may be a faulty disk,and if the discs are home made,It might not like the blank discs you are using,or indeed the writer you used. the laser may be dirty- you can buy lens cleaners off ebay/amazon. Hope this helps. |

| Hi phil, Yes have tried many discs but none were all originals. will try cleaner see how it goes. |

| Had my cd players repaired by Tektan in Girne, no problem since then. In one case, however, I had to get a new laser unit from an electronics shop in Germany, which was exchanged then by them. The repair man himself (Umut Elektronik) has his small shop just next (right side) to Tektan's second shop on Girne High Street (address is Ziya Rizki Cad. 50), so you can go directly to him or let it done by/through Tektan. |
