Bally- I will second 'my left foot' & 'the grudge'

though I think the cinematography and lighting in Debbie does Dallas takes some beating.

Shower scene in Physco takes some beating, as does the one in Debbie does Dallas for that matter(A classic in my opinion).

some good choices there Steve.

Shawshank was top of my list.

Shaun of the dead-decent low budget British comedy-Simon Pegg was good in it and has gone on to much better things(Star trek).

Pulp fiction-Regarded as a classic, personally I have to be in the right mood to watch it.

Inception-Watched it when I was drunk recently, made no sense whosoever-all that flashing back and forward in time did my head in to be honest.Although I've made a diary note to watch it sober.

The dark night(Knight sic)- A great version of the batman series, and much better than most remakes.I think some of the value in the film was because it was released shortly after the death of the lead actor Heath Ledger, but very 'film noir'

msg24-great choices from the John Peel lookalike.

Citizen Kane-good choice, personally though I preferred his portrayal as Harry lime In 'The Third man'

Rainman-Surprisingly good film- who would have thought that Cruise and Hoffman could work together-however I thought Midnight Cowboy was Hoffmans finest film personally, but Rainman a close second.

Goodfellas- no argument there at all,Di Nero is one of my most favorite actors of all time.

Avatar-well it should be good considering the budget-I cant say the acting was good but the effects are outstanding.

All in all some good choices there.
