The vet on Alsancak main road (the professor who has a sign outside showing a horse, dog, cat and hen) has a policeman friend who loves Labradors. Get in touch with her.

If you originally brought the dog from England, why not take her back.

I think paddywhack and misgarnet are barking up the wrong tree.We are not returning to uk otherwise she would be going to uk im off to west africa and im since seperated so im afraid the better life would be here for her. She is one of five dogs that need to be rehomed, the other 4 were rescued here as puppies. So we have done our fair share of helping these dogs grow up.The other 4 are as follows 2 cyprus terriers, i spaniel cross, one boxer cross. All have to go to good homes.

I can't envisage KAR taking 5 dogs which have been pets for all this time. They have enough problems looking after their own 200+. I know they have on very, very rare occasions i.e. death, but I emphasise RARE.

I wish you the best then eagles, but would ask - if you don't re-home these dogs before your date of leaving, PLEASE have them all euthanased - for obvious reasons

msg 18 i think so too, especially a pet who has become used to love and human contact, to be dumped and shooed away by everybody it sees must be a real mind f..k for the animal. I dont like the idea but i would rather that ,than imagine the horrid times ahead for my poor pet :( mans best friend !!

one terrier and choc labrador rehomed - 3 dogs to go. All will find homes as their good family pets.I dont even think negatively like most.Certainly will not be executed.

i sincerely hope you do home them, also may i add that i hope the new owners are genuine??? as previous posts have revealed very nasty conditions in these new homes!! take time to ensure these animals are really wanted , and youre not just releived to get them a new home.........all the best to you and these dogs
