Maz

Have you looked at Turkcells 3G dongle option...

As long as the area you live has 3G coverage it seems to be the way to go...

Very adaptable, fast and cheaper...

Mitzi

Network office is 2 min from the water fountain in Girne heading towards the Lefkosa roundabout just before the roundabout on your right is their offices, you have to park in their car park and they are situated on the first floor.

Hi Mitzi,

There's an agent opposite Digiturk,

on your way in from Catalkoy to Girne,

top road to main roundabout after NEW roundabout.

We pay our Nethouse bill there, easier to park too.

Many thanks again Navek and hope I'll be able to help you out sometime. As for Groucho, are you being lewd or what. What is a dongle option? Sounds like a wind up to me.

No wind up... a dongle is the name given to a plug that allows access they could have called it a widget....

Anyway go and take a look... in a Turkcell shop

Navek, just took a look and was very surprised indeed. Thought I'd seen just about everything until now. Perhaps I was confusing Dongle with Donger!!!!

Turkcell 3g. Best thing to of happened in TRNC in the past year. Faster, more reliable and cheaper. Is there another option? I think not.

No Navek, a donger is NOT what I thought it was and after reading your advice I am enlightened about technology, but not much. Technophobe is what I am.

A donger is exactly what you thought it was... a Dongle however, is not...

Don't get them mixed up again or you could end up in 'trouble' (sic)... ;¬)

Freudian slip on my last posting lads. Yes a donger is the male appendage and a dongle is PC jargon. I will not mix them up again, of that you may be certain.

I just had visions of you going into a Turkcell shop and requesting a donger...

Heaven knows what you'd have got but it might have made your eyes water.

No as bad as my Brother-in-law who bashed his thumb whilst working for the REME at Chobham...

He went to the chemists in Sunningdale to get a thumb stool only he couldn't remember that was the name of it.. so he went up to the counter and made a gesture with his fist and his injured thumb (you have to use your imagination here...) and asked for a "sheath".

The lady behind the counter looked surprised at first and then went all confidential and leaned forward and whispered "Certainly sir, what sort would you like?"

"Oh a leather one!" was his reply.... she nearly fainted...
