Are AJ and Khan being fair to their Customers and performing Artists

Yesterday afternoon I booked a table for last night and during my conversation I confirmed with AJ that Mr Jeff would be playing.On arriving we were greeted by Khan and we mentioned how we were looking forward to seeing Mr Jeff, Khan made no reference to the fact that They had made a decision not to allow Mr Jeff to perform presumably to save paying him his fee as there were less Customers to make it worthwhile. On asking the question when does the music start a nice lady was dispatched to apologise and offer us a complimentary drink.AJ and Khan were nowhere to be seen. My Wife and I feel we were badly misslead and quite frankly cheated. We were also surprised to learn Mr Jeff was at the bar with all his equipment in his car presumably ready to perform. So beware music fans advertisements offering live music does not always mean that is what you will get at the Tropicanna. I would also add the food and service were excellent.

I am sorry you felt you were cheated last night at Tropicana but please don't lay the blame with AJ and Khan. I arrived with my gear in the car (as you quite rightly said) to find about 20 people there so went to the bar for a drink. Almost immediately 2 tables finished dining and left leaving about 12 people.

I made the decision there and then not to play (albeit right or wrong) as i didn't want to end up singing to probably no one after half an hour or so.

I can only apologize to you and can assure you that i will be playing there next Thursday - even if it was as last night - so if you decide to come along please let me buy you a drink for your disappointment.
