Been here for a while and we have seen very few stray dogs. As most of us know this was a big concern.

poor things. Good news must be down to the hard work of KAR.

Thank you KAR !!

Yes Pipie, KAR have worked closely with Girne Belly and the local shop keepers and cafe owners in central Girne in particular. Most of the dogs in the town centre have been "done" and most dogs know which cafe to go to at the end of the day for their daily supply of Grub.

Unfortunateky there are areas which are considered as dumping grounds as the people in parts of Lapta and Karsiyaka will tell you. On top of that people frequently dump a box of pups at the entrance to the KAR centre or tie larger dogs to a stake. It's not unknown for one of the girls in the office in Girne to arrive at work to find a box dumped outside the building.

Well done KAR what would the animal lovers do without you and supporters. I can see a big improvement less and less wild cats dogs to what it used to be. Where are the feeding stations ?

Ms.3 I'm not sure where the feeding stations for cats are, other than the one at the rear of the Pia Bella Hotel next to their car park. There are signs for the holiday makers telling them the feeding times. If you Email the office - kar@kyreniaanimalrescue.org they will let you know.
