I am wondering if car insurance can be bought in NC before I get there to save hassle at the border?

Does anyone know any email address for this and quotes?

I mean at the port in Girne rather than the border, sorry.

If you have a bank account here then get them to arrange insurance and fax/email documents to you. We did this through Iktisatbank when we drove over in May and had no difficulty at the port or elsewhere.
