Hi guys ..

i'm foreign student going to study in Famagusta at Eastern Mediterranean University .. I have a little questions ..

Can I go from Famagusta to Ayia Napa and Kyrenia by bus or taxi?is it legally?

how many hours it takes to get to Ayia Napa or Kyrenia?

how is the nightlife in Famagusta?

"Can I go from Famagusta to Kyrenia by bus or taxi?" By both.

"How many hours does it take to get to Ayia Napa?" By taxi, about 25 minutes

"How many hours does it take to get to Kyrenia?" If you go by bus, you'll have to change buses in Lefkosa - in total it could take over 90 minutes. By the way, the buses stop running in the early evening. So, you will have to take an expensive taxi back or stay the night there.

"How is the nightlife in Famagusta?" It's what you and the other EMU students make of it ... but it's certainly not an Ayia Napa.

We travel by car everywhere, so I'm not certain of taxi prices, but seeing as no one else is replying I will try to give you an idea of prices, etc.

Re : "How much for a taxi from Famagusta to Ayia Napa?" As you probably know Ayia Napa is in the south, so not all taxi drivers will be willing (or have the proper documentation) to take you there. If you find one though, he'll probably charge you 15 to 20 pounds.

Re : "How much for a taxi from Famagusta to Kyrenia?" My estimate would be 40 to 50 pounds.

Re : "Do you know the exact time that the buses stop running?" No, but it's early ... around 6pm ... probably even earlier at the weekends.

Re : "Any other advice?" Errr ... study ... at least occasionally
