Sewage leak

Hi all,



I read an article last week regarding a huge sewage leak in NC !!



Forgot to copy the link at the time to post it - and now I cant find it again???

Ive googled for days and nothing!!!



I was wondering whether anyone had heard about this or read about it???



From what I understand There has been a massive leak from a sewage plant near kyrenis into the sea and around kyrenia harbour!!



Apparently the sewage plants wall collapsed and leaked a million tons of untreated sewage into the sea!



For the meantime they have had to ban all swimming and fishing in the sea.

Also temporarily they have had to divert sewage to the nearby new sewage plant- but this is still being built and will not be fully operational and ready til next year!



Turkey have sent over engineers to deal with the problem as soon as possible!!



Sorry to be the breaker of bad news didnt want to post it really- but wanted to find out whats going on??? My patience and curiousity got the better of me!!
