I know it is not North Cyprus but reading about this prog is hilarious.

I listen to Sarah Kennedy on the early morning show (in UK) and she has championed John Sergeant. Having seen JS many times on the news and on Satirical progs before we left England he is a most unlikely dancer, but a superb performer.

Last week it seems the judges lost the plot by attacking JS after the vote by the public kept him in the competition. JS, as the great professional he is had a go back. Great publicity for the programme as I believe the money from phone calls go to charity.

At the end of the day this is a celebrity competition for charity and if it means lots of money is raised who cares. If the judges do not like it then they should revisit the reasons why they are doing the prog..

Please accept my indulgence with this post as a bit of fun and hopefully you will all continue to support JS.

Well Cyprusathome you have certainly opened my eyes!

I didn't realise it was a celebrity competition for charity......... how the BBC have mislead me and many others into thinking it was something to do with dancing.

Perhaps we should have a "celebrity competition for Charity" with the main task of reading the news with JS on the judges' panel, sort of a "Strictly Newsreading".

The viewers might then vote for a professional soccer player - ("know what i mean, yer know.....) as the literate success, because the player's success is in scoring goals, rather than being able to read. I wonder what JS would say then.

As you say it is only a bit of fun... and again as you say JS is a superb performer......... but certainly not a dancer.
