If it is to scare pigeons then don't bother. They work for 2 weeks and then the pigeons are wise to them. If you keep moving it then the effect will last a bit longer - maybe a month.

I use a wooden owl tied to my water tank on my roof of my villa and it works.

So give it a try, nothing to lose everthing to gain.

Might be worth checking out Mr. Pound if you are passing. I dont remember if they had bird scarers, but they have quite a lot of gardening stuff upstairs with some - excuse me - "gimmicky" things like that. At least if it didnt work you wouldnt have spent a lot of money!

i tied some plastic bags to 3 wire coat hangers,then i hang them near where the birds are.the wind blows them all over the place,making movement and noise.
