Is anyone looking to book a holiday at the Ship Inn?

Hi there,

I paid a deposit for my parents to stay at the Ship in Karaoğlanoğlu later this year but they will not now be coming. I spoke to the owner in the UK to ask if given the notice I was giving, if I could get the deposit back for my dad but he said that I hadn't given enough notice - think he said they needed about 3 months notice. But he did say that I could use the deposit against any future booking I might make either for my dad or anyone else.



So, I'm wondering if anyone out there might be thinking to book a holiday at some point in the future for the Ship Inn and if so would you be willing to let me make the booking for you (I'll send you the confirmation from the hotel) and you pay me a deposit of £100 when you arrive (and pay the rest direct to the hotel). We can meet or I can come to the hotel with you to give the receipt for the already paid deposit? That way I can get some of the money back for my dad.

Not that stay at The Ship anymore no, people seem to be favouring the Pia Bella this year.

What it is, I have cancelled the booking I had made for my parents but the hotel won't refund my deposit. However, they've told me I can make a new booking at any time in the future and use the deposit against that.



So if you would like me to make the booking on your behalf for your friends using my deposit and then we can meet and you or they can reimburse me the deposit, I'll be happy to do that.

If you or your friends or family are thinking to book a holiday at the Ship Inn, can I make the reservation for you and use the deposit money I've already paid out for my parent's cancelled holiday - so that you don't have to pay out anything until you arrive? Then when you arrive, we'll meet at the Ship when you check in and you can pay your deposit to me and the balance for your holiday of course to the hotel.
