Dean and Dave beat Mick up pretty bad (Dave used an iron bar), whils't Mick's Ex, Lynne, looked on....



They then left him lying in a pool of blood, not caring if he lived or died.



Photo's of Mick's injuries were taken as evidence - he then underwent emergency surgery and had a metal plate put in his skull (where the iron bar had smashed it) and the surgeon battled to save his eyesight.



Dean, Dave and Lynne were subsequently arrested and charged with GBH.



They were bailed, having stumped up £5,000 bail money a piece, and their passports were consfiscated awaiting their trial - Word had it that they were looking at 7 or 8 years a piece.



They quickly sold what assets they could and were smuggled over the border in the back of a van and went to the British Embassy in the South, stating that they had lost their passports.



The Embassy issued duplicate passports and they flew back to the UK.

i,m lynns son in law and can confirm she is back in england, as soon as they got back she and dave parted company , dave is now in spain, if any1 see,s mick tell him we are thinking of him and hope he takes her to the cleaners, ive never met a man who has worked so hard in his life as mick and he deserves to be happy whatever he chooses to do

You are obviously a friend of theirs, but the simple truth is that what they did was very very wrong....



The good point is that none of them will ever be allowed back into the TRNC......

Why dig all this out of the archives? Old news and most of pleased to see the back of them!!!



If you so sure they were innocent then answer the facts......



Why have they sold as many of their possessions as they could?



Why have they fled the country prior to the court case?



Lied to the UK government about what happened to the passports?



Best of all was the fact they went round telling everyone the usual "Don't tell anyone but we are skipping out of the country". Why not print off some posters and put them in all the shop windows or how about using all the old Time Machine banners and write it on those?



Drink and big mouths!! Isn't that what caused the problem in the first place? Surprised the police were not waiting at border waiting for them. Then again probably pleased to see the back of them like most of us law abiding expats!!!



Can't see what was fair play about what they did.
