driving along the road,near nicosia,i counted 20 brothels.i just wondered how many there are in trnc,does anyone know.

come to think of it,how many casinos are there in trnc.

Unofficially legalised, the working girls in TRNC have a weekly blood test, fed, looked after for six months before returning to their native Country with some cash in hand for their hard work. Their Passports are taken and held by the Police on arrival until their departure and are registered to work within a particular 'club' with an ID & hospital card.

Whether or not you agree with this system, be it all on moral, religious grounds etc, it a lot better and cleaner than most '1st World Countries'.

Brinsley, are you absolutely sure thats how it works for all of the girls? I doubt very much if all the girls are treated this way. How come a high proportion of them genuinely believe they are going to be trained to work in Casinos. It's tragic and a slur on the KKTC and a subject many T.C would rather not admit "people trafficking" exists in their country.
