| Hi, I went to both Ayios Nicolaos (4 mile point) and King Richards between 1962 and 1965 as did my elder brother Les Apps. I read with fond memories some of the messages in the forum and remember swimming around camel rock. My family used to live a Julio Lats in Famagusta with a travel everyday on the Lefkaritis buses to school and back, great times remembered with affection and much missed. I also remember the Orrell and Isaac brothers all from KRS. Bill. |

| So message 1 was your Dad in the forces? Have you taken a look at Richard Chamberlain's book of photos of Cyprus 1954. He was stationed at Famagusta and took photos of the area and around. I bet it had not changed much by the time you got there. Were you aware of any troubles? |
