Because of a terrible weather forecast for the weekend we have been advised to cancel the performance of Midsummer Night's Dream that was due to take place on Saturday at Salamis. There is a performance arranged for Friday in Lefkosa at the Bedistan (inside) so if you can't make it to Girne Ampitheatre tonight please come along to Lefkosa. Tickets on the door.

And don't forget there is still some space for Sense and Sensibility at Bellapais on Wednesday. Again tickets will be available on the door.

Wow. Great. Can I have two places for Friday please, but what time does it start. There is an exhibition opening in the Buffer zone at 7, but not too far from Bedestan. Not very big in there, is it! So further info please. Was going to the Cello at Bellapais, but there is just too muchon, and my angel wings are broken and I can't fly any more.

I've looked on 3 weather web sites and I can't see torrential rain. All I've seen is light showers possibly on Saturday. Perhaps it's just your end that's going to get it? Thunderstorms on Thursday though. Better check out the generator then!!

In cancelling we were guided by advice given to the Cheshire Homes organisers from the local met office.

The weather forecast is now a lot better but it was felt that it is now too late to reinstate the venue and re-market it sufficiently to get a big enough audience to create a good atmosphere.

This is why we are doing the extra show at the Bedistan in Lefkosa on Friday evening (which of course is inside and not prone to the weather)

We are very sorry to anyone who may be disappointed .
