New problem now. My handset is red, with Turkish on. Having gone to the film chanel, I have discovered that other than 2,4,5 and 115, everything is in Turkish, I can change it from the remote, but it doesn't stay changed. If I go to a different programme and come back, it's in Turkish again. The menu is also in Turkish, so cannot figure out what to do. Does anyone else have a red handset, or have they given me a Turkish one by mistake? Digiturk are now shut.

I have red handset. 2,3,4,5, up to dizimore all English. Then if want the films which are all Turkish I press the green button up comes turkish underneath original press the one for original then should have it on in English although the film channel called speed sometimes French, German etc. The menu is in Turkish. 115 only get English - hope this helps a bit - reading this through I am confused now. But you do have the proper handset.

Thanks for that rocking, but isn't their a way that we can change it for good into English, the way it is for people with the other handsets. A friend of mine got a new box yesterday, but a different handset, and hers is in English (well what always was with the old one). She also has the menu in English, and everything written on her handset is English. I'll call them in the morning, and if there is a way to change it, I'll post it here.

Unfortunately I gave it back with the box. Now I'm really fed up.

Digiturk said all the new ones are red and came from Turkey not England. Has no one figured out how to change the language permanently (not each time) on the films and other English channels permanently. It's so annying, as you can't flick through the channels without having to change the language each time. Despite me saying it about 5 different ways, Digiturk still didn't understand, they couldn't see what was wrong with changing the language each time you wen on to the channel.
