Olives have been dropping from my trees in large quantities over the last few weeks, presumably due to lack of water. I have been told however that we should not harvest them until end of October. Is this correct or can I take some now to be processed?

Hang on for the time being, give them as much water as you can until late October, even olive trees that are irrigated shed olives, don't worry, you will reap the benefits, prop up the branches if they need it. Good Luck.

October 5th is the date given by the government for Kyrenia region. I have 16 trees in Ozankoy that I am willing to give to someone to pick in return for half the pickings. Anyone interested please let me know. Biker
