With Inter Gaz if you guarantee to have 4 deliveries through the winter you get a discounted price. Last winter we used 5 tanks of gas for the central heating.

We also just used the log burner on some days.

how188,

fyi

Had my tank filled yesterday. It is 1.90 tl per liter. My tank was at 50% when they arrived. It took an additional 370 liters. 703 tl.

I have only used Intergaz and they have consistently been nonsensefree. It has been refreshing to be told that something will be done or they will show up tomorrow and it happens. Installation process was just as easy and representative bent over backwards to accomodate my schedule. Even drove out to my accommodations with credit card machine for the deposit.

Thank you Intergaz for professional service. You are one of the very few who seem to "get it."

Thanks good people,

More help needed, does anyone have a method for measuing gas usage when a house is rented out?

My tank has a percent full guage but not units use meter?

Guess I could use perecent full but how do you turn volume into cost of usage to let the tennat know how much they are using rather that get an eye watering bill when the tank needs refilling!!?

just spoke to Jetgaz and have been told that new rules mean that they have to fill up the tank, in the past we have just got a part tank as we just use the gas for hot water. As we have a 1750 litre tank (which is nearly empty) and we rent our house I do not want the tank filling up. I asked her what I could do if I didn't have the money to fill it and she just replied that she can't change the rules.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I believe that you don't own the tank & it belongs to the gas company ..

If it was Jetgaz when the tank was installed .. Can you change the supplier to Intergaz ..

1.90TL / litre is exactly twice the price when tank was installed .. 0.95TL / litre in January 2007 ..

Jet gaz yesterday was 1.90 tl

Rang on Monday they delivered Wednesday late afternoon as requested.

They deliver Alsancak/Lapta Monday Wednesday Friday. We took 800 litres the last time we filled was 2 years ago. We have central heating but quite honestly we don't use it that much.

Jet Gaz seem efficient and friendly see no reason to change unless the price is signifantly cheaper.

We have used both companies in the past and had good experiences with both.

In our last house we were told we had to fill up but when the driver used to come along we would tell him that we only wanted xx amount of litres or xx amount of TL's worth of gas, held out the money and that's what we got.

Still seems a high price to me as the last top up was 1.65 per LT.

But I suppose that is in line with other utilities???
