The popular rock band Pearl are taking to the high seas on Saturday 8th October. They are joining the Princess Boat in Girne harbour on their sunset cruise - playing all the way for the Kemel Saracoglu Foundation for Leukemia and the Fight against Cancer. Enjoy a fish or chicken BBQ, a chance to alight at Escape Beach, and, as always, Danny's famous guitar solo.

Tickets are 55TL, of which 20 TL will go to the charity. The evening starts at 5.30 and the boat will return to Girne harbour araound 10.30 p.m.

Tickets are limited and MUST be booked in advance by ringing Art Watson on 0533 8614873 or Mr T from the Princess on 0542 8770516.

It promises to be a great night.

How can you alight to Escape beach you have to swim there as the boats cannot go close to the beach.

And if you took a rubber ring and made it to the beach, you would instantly be charged for use of facilities...

The Very best of luck PEARL , and hope you raise plenty cash.

Msg 2

We will actually be mooring just off the beach to allow people to eat, swim or just to relax and enjoy the music.

Msg 3 had worked it out!

Hope this clears up any confusion!!

Unfortunately, due to the windy weather conditions, the Captain has cancelled tonight's planned boat trip.

Sorry everyone, but that's show business !

Next gig at China Garden, Catalkoy, next Friday. See you all then.

Would of been a great day and evening

Leave the boat moored up and play in the harbour ,pay a little less money and still give the charity some and use the boats bar ,would it work?

The boat owner still make a little income from his bar .

Good idea which we discussed with the boat owners but were told we would not be allowed to play music on a boat moored in the harbour-sorry we tried everthing to hold the event but the weather beat us.

Sorry, but unfortunately, there is standing room only at China Garden on Friday

All dining tables are booked !

There is a lot more demand and therefore, rather than let people down, we will probably do a second free performance for the Kemal Saracoglu Charity on another night next week.

l Spoke to Mr T, said l had been looking forward to our evening like many of us, on his Boat and also thanked him for thinking of are safety and not the money he would have received.

Today l spoke to a friend of mine who has a boat in the harbour and he told me that was the best thing for us all.

Mr T said it was because he did not want alot of us being sick (his words). It was a trip to be enjoyed, but there would always be another time.

Maureen,

Thanks-when we booked the event based on experience Mr T felt he could continue to do the "sunset cruise "until the middle of November so perhaps this answers the sarcastic and un-necessary comments from Deniz1.
