Road Route/travel info UK to TRNC required

Hi. Has anyone got details a good, proven routing from the UK to TRNC? Also any info, on border crossings and any specific requirements, monies required, idea of cost of Tolls etc. Am looking at doing this next month so trying to anticipate what's required. Does Tom Tom Europe mapping cover most of the journey?

If anyone can offer some info, I would be grateful. Also any recommendations for stop-over hotels enroute?

Just drove a car from UK with a 12 months tax disk. Customs gave stamp and said in 1 months time go to the customs office in Lefcosa for an extension…..Any one know what will happen next, we intend to take the car back to the UK in 12 months time.

When I drove out 6 years ago I went via ferry from Italy to Greece.
