Car & 2 sets of number plates

how can somebody manage to have two sets of number plates on the vehicle at the same time , ? .one set used in trnc , then one removed when crossing to the south , ( one tax , one mot , one ins ) ? .

One way is to have a pre 1974 registered car have kept the pre 1974 registration and then get a TRNC registration. So yes the car will be old but there are some…

The trnc goverment had a 2 cars on one number plate so anything is possible.The other reason might be that the driver was worried about vandalism of a trnc reg car in the south.
