| The Kozan is a great place to go, they have horses wandering through the forest land up there. Big bbq area with seats and tables in the forest area. Beautiful walks and views. The Kozan is above Karsiyaka, if you take the road up to the village and take the turning opposite the large greek church and drive up the mountain you will come to the Kozan which will be on your right hand side.

| there is a great aqua park in Lapta.
Also some hotels like Simpati in Karsiyaka also have an aqua park
there is a nice beach in Karsiyaka on the way to Guzelyert with swings and cafe etc. It is very popular and there are areas nearby where you can picnic on the beach. Go past there if you are looking for something a bit wilder, turn right in front of the group of nightclubs and right again - great little wild beach ideal for picnics. In truth message 2 is correct you can just drive anywhere and find a picnic area. If you go right at the nightclubs and stay on that road you can find lots of areas to picnic. We go to a beach along that road it has a small Greek church on one beach and a storage building in a cove and it is very popular for picnics.
Most of the fun is in finding these places. |
