That little lad is showing signs of serious abuse.

Look at the shirt the poor little mite is forced to wear.

I might as well give the facts with no further comments. Bill closed a thread and Wynyardman started a new one challenging the closure. I closed the new thread straight away for challenging the moderator's decision. Wynyardman started a further new one with the heading something like this: "If you close a thread with the speed of light,i I can start a new one with the speed of a neutrino". I did appreciate the remark about the neutrino as it was in the news lately about the possibility of having a speed slightly faster than light but he was insistently challenging the right of a moderator to close a thread. Hence the ban for a week.

Elko,

I accept that neutrinos travel faster than the speed of light, but how that relates to the activities of a

Cyprus 44 Moderator, is beyond me.

As I recall i was offerring to buy a T shirt for Ismail. Now that is important. Another week wasted.

Wyn,

I am not very familiar with the thread that Bill had closed but you started a new one clearly challenging that decision so I closed it promptly and then your new thread and your reference to closures with speed of light and new threads with speed of neutrinos. Don't tell me you don't remember it because if that is the case either its you or me who was drinking at the time. As far as I know last time I drank a glass of wine was about six months ago

No probs. I posted about Cyprus being up for sale tonight, and negotiations with 6 mmmmmms going on.

Again it dissappeared. That is twice. Is this moderation, or censorship?

@ msg 20: Gooligan, the board manager Izzet and possibly the moderators can tell you that msg 20 was posted in the UK or in Northern Cyprus. So there is no reason to call Clarissa2 "Hans". Because Hans is in Holland and he has been there for the past two weeks. Thank you.

Wynyardman,

I would suggest a large number of members (much like myself) have given up posting regularly on this site due to the censorship. I have'nt a good word for the so called moderation so I wont use any. People of no importance crave importance and can often be found in situations such as this.

I can tell you that more than one member of this board thinks that "Clarissa 2" is your alter ego (although I'm sure you are well aware of this by now).

Unless of course the moderators are receiving threatening emails from certain members of the board so feel under pressure to allow some of the more *dodgy* posts to remain without censorship or moderation.

Could be that the Mods are just jealous of your good looks Wyn, and that we are sweltering in the heat here in GB spending our very generous OAP,

Hattikins, it would seem that those 'cretins' who have sent nasty emails to member/s of another forum are allowed to continue on here unchecked as you say...

What is the difference between censorship and moderation?

Obviously if you agree with it, its moderation.

If you don't, its censorship!

Msg 28 - just turned on the computer and your post gave me a real hoot - thanks for starting my day (albeit just past midday) with a snigger...

Unfortunately your literary reference falls rather flat in as much as, as far as I can recall, Drusilla was deeply pious, and as anyone who has ever read any of my postings, I believe ALL religions should be erased from this planet - not least, as more deaths occur in the name of Faith, than all the wars put together - don't even start me on 'honour killings' or people whose lives are informed, directed, instructed and led by words written by strangers they will never meet - to me - a form of madness - when we all have minds of our own. So - as an affirmed Atheist, you chose the wrong (poetic licence here) doppleganger for me

P.S. My apologies for the typo.

Clarissa, may I suggest a (reasonably priced) Mouton Cadet may be more acceptable to your obviously discerning palate, as, although Merlot dominant, there is a little vanilla coming off the nose; no oak, but a suggestion of berry fruitfulness, with a smidgeon of liquorice and chocolate, then a touch of green veg on the finish ;O)

Rotto - astute observation!!!!!!!!

Jeannie - can't abide Oz Clarke - nor that lady that also pontificates on the food programme - whose name escapes me. As regards attention-seeking Clarissa - the lexicon of wine appreciation is, to me, nonsensical - I sense she and I are in accord in that regard - yet feel an aesthete would use aristocratic terminology to describe a good wine - social constructs like cultured, civilised, and so forth, whereas a cheap unpalatable wine would be termed coarse or vulgar - indicating immediately a social divide in as much as those in straitened circumstances might buy cheap wine (ergo are coarse or vulgar) whereas those of a more solvent disposition would buy a better class of wine - ergo - they are of a better class - the whole wine thing to me is risible tripe - pretentious nonsense about a libation that after all, rug rats in France (say) imbibe - virtually as they leave the breast... Uh oh - have I turned into Clarissa 3? :o)

Sadly, the internet 'search engines' suggest you've posted otherwise.. :(
