page 1 shows 50 topics in total, out of that there are 35 topics that have helpful information on TRNC living etc etc, 15 are pure drivel. Can we please keep the Forum board restricted to information or advise including items for sale. The rest of the stuff is just a waste of time.

Weary... don't read the drivel... Where do the mods draw the line...trouble is one man's drivel is another's buring issue... and some threads that start off promisingly end up with drivel (mea probably culpa).



Not sure the 3 word story is anyone's burning issue or even funny but some seem to like it... I just leave it alone.

yeah your right Groucho, but it is still very frustrating to see all these kinds of topics which are pretty pointless. Forums like this should be limited to INFORMATION and HELP, not just trash.........Maybe I will leave this site alone for a while, to see if it improves.

Think that only 30% of topics are drivel compared to most forums is very good, some of them have 95% drivel.



Afraid I will once again support Groucho's point that of just ignore what you consider drivel, I probably miss out about 50% of threads when I check in because I know what they are and hold no interest for me.



Please do not abandon the forum just try to take over your own editorial control.



However you do raise a good point that I have tried to push many times over last 4 years, will people who start thread make the title meaningful, makes life for us more discerning readers much easier.

Dont click on every channel. Just the ones that appeal.

cyprusishome - once again a positive statement from you. The forum is there for everyone who wants to use it, whether you want to post something informative or something witty. There's nothing wrong with posting comments that are not informative as long as they don't get out of hand and the personal abuse starts. I agree with Groucho also about ..."one man's drivel....".

I personally think this is a great forum and long may it continue.

Unfortunately, down at the pub there is always one who rants on and irritates all the other patrons. You have to take it with a pinch of salt and ignore those who are not like minded. The forum is a brilliant social tool and you can't please all the people all the time. It's supposed to be FUN, as well as informative. Try to be more discerning about what you read. 35 out of 50 is not a bad average considering the number of airheads out there in society today
